So sad, I just finished The Help and it was so good, that I hated to finish it as I have nothing to replace it yet. Loved it and the perspective of the Nigra's was great. I loved how some loved their families and hated those families that mistreated them, then it makes me wonder how Lynne's family treated their Help. Maybe her sister could enlighten me, they lived there or in Tennessee at that time. hmmmm a thought.

This was a very good book. I thought the author did a fantastic job writing from a black woman's perspective (I understand that that is my own, white-woman, point-of-view). This books makes me want to eat a Caramel Cake! You? Also, I always wish the one maid had never mentioned the L-shaped scratch in the table! Oh, and I loved the story of how the writer's maid would press her thumb into her palm when she told her something important. Good, good story.
